On June 26, Skanska announced it had won a $325 million contract from Portman Holdings to build a Marriott-brand hotel in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. Located next to the Cincinnati Convention Center, the project covers a total building area of approximately 660,500 square feet (about 61,400 square meters), with 21 floors, 700 guest rooms, a rooftop terrace, meeting rooms, a ballroom, ground-floor retail space, and a skybridge connecting to the convention center and parking garage. Construction began this month and is scheduled for completion by the end of 2028.
